Soffit vents in my porch ceiling?

Hello,
In an effort to increase our atttic ventilation we had installed a continuous ridge vent. I then blocked off the gable end vents with heavy plastic. There are continuos soffit vents running on the back and front of the house. My question is that there is a front porch with a drywall ceiling. Above this ceiling is the attic. I am thinking of installing soffit type round vents in this ceiling. Any opinions on this idea?

I wouldn't suggest it
There is such thing as over doing you soffit vents to ridge vents. You have to have the same sq inches of soffit vent to ridge vent in order for pure effectiveness.
