What Should I Plant?

Hello,

I just moved to a fourth floor apartment with a South East facing balcony. I want to plannt some flowers or sweet smelling plants in the balcony planters. I have no idea as to which plants should I choose. I would appreciate all and any help in that matter. Thanks

What kind of climate do you live in?

Florida

I live in Pensacola, so in the winters it gets to be chili sometimes and the summers are humid and hot.

Herbs are always a good idea

Herbs like Basil are very aromatic and are relatively easy to maintain. If you woud like to add color, I would suggest using perennials.
